About Katrina Jenkinson
I am studying for an MSc in Endangered Species Recovery and Conservation. I have always loved animals and the great outdoors but it wasn’t until I completed an internship at Chester Zoo in 2015 that I finally decided that conservation was what I wanted to do. Prior to 2015, all of my experience came from working at an animal sanctuary in Wales which didn’t involve many wild animals so I started volunteering for the Snowdonia Society and North Wales Wildlife Trust alongside my studies. I am very passionate about the conservation of British wildlife and habitats and I am looking to pursue a career conserving British species once I have finished my studies. You can check out my blog here.
