Hugh is currently a postdoctoral research scientist in the School of Biology and Environmental Science at UCD in Dublin. He has previously worked at Cardiff University in the UK. His interest in all things freshwater and aquatic ecology began during his undergrad at UCD and has continued ever since. His main interests include the ecology of biological systems and their response to global environmental and climate change.
